Default Suggestions please

I just removed my intake to have it blasted and painted, I am bringing it to the blaster tomorrow, but since I have it off, is there anything that I should be checking underneath it while I can?

Heres the picture, any and all recommendations are not only appreciated, but I take them into VERY serious consideration!

Thanks!!

I would pull the heads off, and get them and the valve covers cleaned up.

Problem with that is if you grind the valves and seal the upper end and the rings are weak them the engine will use/burn oil. Best thing might be to pull it and rebuild it or crate-replace it. My 2 cents--

No sense bolting a shiny newly painted intake on there, without giving the valve covers the same treatment!

I would just check the torque of the headbolts.
