Local Drag Strip
Hey guys! I went to the local drag strip last night(Sorry no photos, camera got destroyed).
I had some great pictures of a C6 Z06 corvette some guy bought the day before. He was "learning to drive it at the drag strip" and he had quite the buzz going on, everyone was talking about this car more than any other. He started off running 17 seconds in the quarter mile, but by the end of the night he was down to 11.3 if I remember right. Pretty good improvement for a right off the lot vehicle.
One thing caught everyone off guard was the Dodge Ram3500 heavy duty truck that rolled up to the line. There was a lot of laughing and joking about this truck until it absolutely creamed the focus it raced. The truck did 13.1 in the quarter mile, unfortunately on its second run something went wrong and 13 people had to push it off the track.
Once I get a new camera I’ll see if I can load the pictures.
