I've heard that the decal kits for the CE has been discontinued. If you can find some, get them. I've also heard that they are outragiously priced.
On the other hand.....
If you're getting your CE repainted, you might want to check into getting the fade-away graffics painted on instead of forking out a war pension for stickers.

Good advice provided you are not having the CE judged. The original graphics we decals and you'll take a big points hit if you go with paint.

That's true. But finding those graghics is getting harder to do. When I started looking for my first Vette, the '82 CE was the one I wanted.
Everyone I came across needed paint. The cost of the decals to replace, killed any deal.
The Gradient Hood Decal and Rocker Panel Decals are now available at Phoenix Graphics...they are outrages! $1,399 for just the hood and rocker panel decals.
Leave it alone unless you're having the car placed in a contest. I have an 82 CE and the hood decal is all crackly due to the years and heat but I don't want to take away form the car's originality. Someday when I paint the car I will have all of the pinstriping and decals painted on and then clearcoated!!! It looks unbelievable!
