A good locksmith can get it open, or you can take a 1/4 drill and drill the lock out. Maybe find someone that has a locking cap and try their key. ( I'd drill it and be over it)

It should be easy to pick.

Most of the caps were not very strong or secure. A twist with a screwdriver in the key slot might just do it.

I agree with Mike. The locking linkage is incredibly flimsy. Just stick a slothead screwdriver in the keyhole and twist.

Locks are made to keep honest people honest.
Screwdriver should do it.

I'm going to try the screwdriver and if that doesn't work I'm gonna drill it.

If you get a new one buy the brand named Stant.

Yes they have locking. The quality is great. I believe your cap is non vented type. Here's their website.
Good Luck
