headlight removal

Has anyone done a thread on headlight removal on a 79, what is the easiest wa to remove the complete headlight assemblies

Are you taking them out to paint?
How long will they be out If your just working on them just do one at A time that way you always have one to look at .
If your taking them apart for sometime I would do what I do ,take your
Video camera into A VCR and record what you do ,then put it up for the day you put it all back together.
