I'm down to bare windshield frame, and the owner has been installing for about 40 yrs. He assured me no problems and warrantied... has done many Vettes from "back in the day" til now.
Mine has light scratches from old wipers. Just wondering if I should replace or just live with it.

This is correct. If you can not catch your finger nail in the scratch, then it will polish out. I bought the kit from Eastwood and used it on a windshield that would not pass state inspection. It took the scratches out with no problems. It takes some time, but it worked great!
