Default How to remove Radiator? HELP!

Well....I started the body off project and most major stuff is done. I got to the front and removed the bumper bolts and the crossmember under the radiator. I've probabaly pulled and installed 50 radiators in various cars over the years....but not a Vette. All of the bolts are out, hoses off, and trans. lines off. I can't move the shroud toward the engine and I can't pull the radiator without moving the shroud. What am I missing?

Also, the list I'm working from says to remove three front bumper brackets. Can someone explain exactly what this really means? I've seen body offs with the front bumper still attached.

...on certain year C3s, it's best to pull the shroud, core support and radiator as a unit, especially your '73-'82 cars. Some of your earlier bumper C3s without A/C that have the steel barrel shroud you can pull just the radiator, but I've done two '75s and one 1980 and I pulled the radiator/shroud/coresupport as a unit and it worked great.

Chrome front bumpers mount at the center and each corner. You will find a big U shaped center mount and mounts inside the fenders at each corner. You will proably find it easier to remove the bumper and the brackets prior to body lift. Mark the corner brackets. There's a left and a right.
