new Dewitts on the way!
I'm looking forward to driving without running the heater full blast in the middle of Summer!

Once everything is disconnected the unit (core support, rad, shroud) pulls straight up and out.
Of course you'll need to wiggle and tug but it's not too difficult.
I had mine out on the floor in about an hour and a half without any help.
Good luck and don't forget new seals.
Steve
Yes the support pretty much unbolts, but make sure you've got the car supported well. The rad. support does provide stability to the front end.
I bought the DeWitt's dual fans for my stock replacement radiator, hasn't been above 195 since I first fired her up!
I would suggest mounting everything(the support, seals, radiator, fans) on a table/bench, then getting help setting it in place. All the support bolt holes may not line up perfectly. Mine took some wiggling, and working one at a time.
Good Luck!
Don't forget, you're going to need at least an 80 amp alternator to run those fans. I went with a 105 amp...
hot weather (85+) and stop and go traffic but still never above 195.
I should have done this a long time ago.
If you're thinking about a DewWitts, do it now.
My original radiator, even though it "looked good" must have had build up inside it to restrict the flow enough to make it inefficient.
Some of the best money you will spend on the car.............
