Default Hello All

Like to say hello again.

I have been off the forum for nearly a year (with exception of a couple log ons) and haven't spoke to more a a couple of you in that time.

The year has been bussy for me and i have not done much to my Blue 80 other than drive it on occasion.

I have been stock piling parts for my ground up rebuild. Thanks to all of you I have been able to shop for what have proven for most of you. I have a great fram and body to work with and am looking at dissasembly of the car this winter. For now i just keep it road worthy.

I have desided to go old school with a big block and that is where many parts have been collected. I realy like 383's and LSX engines, however I thought i would go BB while we still can.

Once I start the tear down I will also take lots of photos. I learned a lot of tips from Stinger in his project. Just as I have learned from otherson this forum.

As far as brakes and steering I will stick with stock design brakes, with the addition of a power booster (wich i have on my shelf) and have chosen to go with the jeep steering box (very pricy, however as of June it is on my shelf also).

I have collected everything I need for the rolling chassie re build including many small parts.

I will spindsome time back on the forum to offer any help that I can for others. Don't know everything; with 7 vettes inb my past i learned a few tricks. Five of thoes being C3's, one C2 and one C4.

Look forward to speaking to all of you and catching up on everyones progress in their C3.

This is still the greatest and most informitive forum I have visited. I still have a couple of BMW's and at times visit thoes forums. They don't have the same feel as the C3 forum
