Well the Good Guys Rod and Custom show was in town this weekend and I had every intention of going to it all three days. I am selling my car and figured this would be a good place to both show it off and try to make a deal.
Friday was a long day, from 7AM to 5PM.
We headed out Saturday morning and on the way ran into some trouble. I was following another car on the freeway when all of a sudden they swerved to the side to miss something in the road. I swerved as well, but still ran over it. Blew the left front and rear tires and damaged both rims. Everything else seems to be OK, but I'm going to have it checked out to be sure.
I checked to Boyd website, and it doesn't look like they make my wheels anymore.
That is to bad but if they get driven things will happen. A GOOD wheel shop should be able to fix that. I have seen worse wheels come out looking like new.
Believe it or not, they can actually fix wheels that get damaged worse than yours.

Just this morning i was watching trucks on the speed chanel and they mentioned a company (in Texas?) that can repair wheels. The example was on a late model Chevy truck that had damage to a factory alloy wheel. You may be able to search their wesite for the vendor.
Sorry to here your weekend was a disaster I recently saw a truck on the highway that
fixes bent an damaged wheels but for the life of me I can't remember the name.
But i think those wheels can be fixed. Keep us posted especially on what Grundy says.
