Default horns on a 1982 ce

hi folks
i have 1982 ce.what is the trick to
getting the horns installed in the stock
location.in the front end.i tried this weekend
to get them mounted back in place.
i don'nt want to cut anything apart,on the
front end.

If they are like my 78, and I believe they are, from underneath. Seemed like it was easier to reach than from above. Is that what you're asking?

they go up into the front of the fenders on a 82 .they are hard to see .to replace them you may have to take apart some of the front bumber

It is best if you leave the hood up.
take a small child and grab them by the legs and lower them down past the hood and into the front fenders.

when my horns did not work i used hand gesters.

Well I have a 81 and if it like mine which i'm sure it is. Fill your cooler with beer and start this project.

You have to remove the front bumper. Raise the headlights and remove the bezels. Remove all the screws that hold the bumper to the body. I got to all of the screws from underneath reaching up. When bumper is removed, you will se each horn in the upper corner of each fender. Thank you GM

Have beer and replace both. Its not a job you want to do twice.
