Default stone chips
only on both outside rear view mirrors?
mine on the 81 are pitted bad. yet windshield and nose are clean.
any idea why?
front fenders too high?

If you have had a quickie paint job, I would suspect they didnt' take the time to repaint the mirrors.

no, original owner and orig paint.

strange, I can't figure it out.

Any others have this issue?

No stone chips.

I would have to ask....are your front tires wider than stock?

This could cause chips on the mirrors I suppose.
