I'd say that this falls under the "Neglected" category; first C3 I looked at buying, sat under a car-cover in the back of an auto-repair garage. Every body-panel would need redoing, the interior was disassembled, the non-original engine had only the most basic of wiring to get it running, and he got $9k for it. It will be a nice car someday, but probably take another $20k to get it there.

wish i had pics of mine when i pulled it out of the garage.

sat for 20 some years, had about an inch of dust on it, insulation crap from the ceiling above it fell all over it, 4 flat tires, and the entire interior sitting in the seats and rear storage area.

ok here you go, but i warn you this wont look nice:

There she is as I found her, now she is a bit cleaned up, interior completely removed, and living in a garage. I will likely restore/modify her when I'm done with college.

Just be careful. If it last longer than 3 hours, consult your doctor!

Np, it really looked worse than it was, I had a friend go with to look it over. It is a no hit car, frame is very solid, birdcage has some rust at the top, but solid most everywhere else. Best part is what I got with the car, lots of nos stuff like new tail lights/markers, re-chromed bumpers all around, nos steering wheel, and much more. The previous owner purchased lots of parts but could never finish the car. I won't have that problem

I see the strong potential there!

Is that a Monaco Orange with Saddle interior color-combo? About the only thing that might looks sharper is that exterior with a white interior and roof; it would look like a creamsicle.

Greetings!
My barn find was 3 years ago.
I put in hundreds of hours and still not done, with a lot of elbow
grease and hours of reading. At the time, I thought my work was cut
out for me, but after seeing the previous photos, it wasn't as bad as I
thought.

Granted, I did replace a lot of electrical, rubber, tore down the motor to the pistons, just to get her to run.
Also S/S brakes, calipers, pads, lines, master cylinder, fuel pump and lines, re-cored the radiator (US made)
with original tanks, rebuilt the radiator core, rebuilt all the vacuum actuators, refurbished original intake, exhaust manifolds,
partial exhaust system just to keep her correct. Currently have a borrowed carburetor while mine is being rebuilt by an NCRS friend.

I found the car stored in the back of an old steel pole barn, on a
concrete floor with about 200 pounds of burlap piled on it. The paint was
chalky and hazy and the interior, well let's just say it needed work.

Although I am mechanically inclined, I never went to the extent or
extreme of tearing down a car and re-building it. Heck, I still haven't
done a body off yet. It's a driver - A work in progress.

Below I have many of the before photos. Here, you can click them
for a larger view. Refer to my photo album if you want to see the
after photos.

I continue to slowly work on her to this day. When I get a little extra
cash that doesn't go into the gas tank, I fix something else.
