I know how duplicate threads get started now.
My thread about which of four chrome 18x8 wheels is duplicated. I figured out how that happened. :o
I started a new thread and walked away for a while after previewing my post but before finishing it. When I finally got back to my computer, I had a timeout. I went back and few pages, hit refresh, finished my edits and clicked "Submit New Thread". Both the threads with and without my final edits were posted.
In the future, I will either finish my thread and submit it before I walk away, or select everything I typed, Ctrl-C (Copy to Clipboard), cancel my thread, start over later, and Ctrl-V (Paste) my original text.
