Nice looking engine! If mine looked like that I wouldn't let anyone near it. hmmm... I don't anyway. Putting the fan on backwards? That's pretty tough to do.. well, it should be tough to do and not notice that you did it, if you were paying the slightest bit of attention. How did you feel when the guy said, "hey, your fan is on backwards" ... that must have been quite a "w t f" moment. That's almost like installing your seats backwards.
At least you weren't.... oh wait, you were hurt... well at least you weren't killed.

OUCH! That's gotta hurt! Only good thing about the dealerships closing is that a lot of great mechanics are now working in smaller local shops. The shop I use hired the top vette mechanic in the region when one of the local dealers folded. Silver lining for a very dark cloud.

thought of that, but i do have the guy who towed the car the day i picked up the car and the guy who fixed the mistakes the same day.
Also, this isnt a shower burn...
And I went back to them the next day and showed them my arm and told them about it, then sent them a certified letter about what happened also.
Cars can be fixed. I hope you saw a doctor for that burn. Don't take a chance with it.
That shop doesn't deserve to be around much longer. Somebody should have been checking the kids work if he was new. No excuse for what that shop allowed to happen to your car (and you).
doesn't suprise me..no offense...all these shops, and yes even Dealerships hire these clowns that can barely tie their shoes to work on vettes...does more harm to their business than good IMO. You should definitely hold the shop responsible for all your headaches, arm pain, and damage to your car. You deserve compensation for your time and troubles.
