At first glance I could not stand them, wound up buying a leftover '67 Coupe instead in Sept.of 1967. I had seen pictures of the upcoming changes and for some dumb reason didnt like it at all. Bought that '67 Coupe and loved it, in the meantime the C-3's were being seen more and more out on the streets and it grew on me, but it took until 1971 to actually buy one, the view from behind the wheel is unlike anything else in the motoring world , but there is still a soft spot in my heart for a C-2,,,,,,,,,,, or any vette for that matter.
Peace,,,Moosie

Air turbulence in a convertible at speed can be quite uncomfortable. That smoked Lexan accessory is called a Windjammer. It connects to the normal top pin locations via nylon bushings and Allen screws. Air is deflected up and over the cabin making driving more pleasant. In case of rain and the need to use the canvas top it comes off in about 45 seconds.
