My dash lights do no work. I pulled the speedo out ( also need a speedo cable) and tach to replace the bulbs. I replaced the bulbs and they still don't work. I then looked at the fuses, but I can't figure out which fuse it is. I saw the fuse diagram someone else posted, but mine Is a little diffrent. It's suppse to be, from the top, 2nd row, the first on the left, but that one is blank. Could it have fallen out from behind or something. Or maybe the fuse is somewhere else. The fuse that is suppse to be for my gagues above my radio is my ingnition fuse. So I don't know. Also, my brake light comes on ( before I fixed my brakes) so if that worked I would think the lights were just burned out. But their not. Mabe it's the circuit board. ... What do you think? Ever had this problem? Any suggestions?
Use a meter to make sure each fuse is good. I replace all my bulbs and cleaned each bulb holder with fine emery cloth. Purchase a shop manual, this is a must if you want to work on you vette. You can find them on Ebay, NCRS and maybe Amazon or any vette web site. Are the circuits on the board in good shape? I have on spot that was broke, purchased a new board and was good to go.
They are the new fuses. They are flat and colored. Not the glass ones.
Look for this marking INST LPS . It should be marked around 6 amps, the lowest amps in the fuse box. The INST LPS fuse must be hot on both sides with the headlight switch pulled out before the dash lights will work.

Their is a spot on the circuit board where the plug, plugs into the dash. It doesn't look the best. I guess I just need a new board. I think they are like $80 or so. I still wanna know where the fuse is for it. Thanks Will

I think your right. On that fuse, I only have one conector. The other is gone. I wonder how to replace that :-( ... I think that's my problem tho.

One of few things
Headlight switch or fuse
If dash or center console does not light up go with above.
If center console lights up when parking lights are on (Make sure reostat is full counterclockwise just before interior lights turn on) then look at circuit board on speedo cluster

The center gagues work. It's the speedo and tach lights. I think first I need to figure out how to fix the fuse problem. Their is only one conector. Once I can get the fuse hot, then I can go from their.

If the center console iluminates your headlight switch and fuse is fine. It must be your circuit board on the speed cluster that is bad.

Are you 100% sure about that? The center gauge lights and dash light are the same fuse? Just make sure its not a single fuse before I spend $70 on a circit board.
It's got to be the circuit board. I did some test, and I got power going to the sockets and the bulbs are good so it's got to be the circuit board. Two of the wires where the plug goes into are kinda messesd up and that's got to be what's causing the lights not to work.
