Yes, do a quick search on this forum, C3, for C5 seats) This has been asked a lot
and you should find a lot of info their. By the way, they do fit, but not with the C5
seat tracks.
I measure and do metal fabrication so tracks should not be too hard to rework...the only problem I may have is that the C5 seats are power seats.. I will post a pic of it as it was salvage from junkyard ...had to save the glass!!!
Hey rob,
If you have the old C3 tracks just use them, just center them
on the C5 seat bottoms at the same spacing they were on the C3
bottoms and then they just drop into place. You well have to build
some spacer to angle the seat bottom upward, 1'' in the front and
no more than a 1/4'' in the rear. The C5 power track won't work well
in the C3 because it makes the seat set to high, although I think a few
have used them. Are you getting a whole car from the salvage yard
or just the seats? I still would do a search here on the forum, there is
a lot of information here that would valuable to you.
From what i have seen, it is a popular swap. The problem, is guys want a fortune for these seats. I am going to hold off till i find a cheap set or a reasonable aftermarket seat.

I've often thought of putting C5 seats in my C3. They are a more comfortable seat. For now I'll just have to look into replacing the C3's seat foam.
Even at swap meets, C5 seats are expensive.
