I'm rebuilding the Tilt/Tele column.
Looking for an "ignition actuator rod" and "FingerLock" housing/shroud.

Does anyone know if actuator rods are interchangable on some year models?

Jim Shea is the resident st. column expert & would know. He posts & has written several papers on the st. columns. His articles should be at corvettefaq.com
I expect the "ignition actuator rod" is interchangeable on many models.

The T&T actuator assembly is the same 1977-82. It is available through Dr. Rebuild

The finger inhibitor shroud is unique for 1977 because the instrument cluster was carryover. I believe that the 1978-79 and the 1980-82 shrouds can be reworked to fit your 1977.

The shrouds are listed at Corvette Steering Service Inc.
