Dash lights and instrument cluster lights
Hi,
Pulled tach and speedometer to replace tach board and lights bulbs. There are about 5 lights out. Replaced with new bulbs but still not working. I also have no lights in instrument cluster. ( oil temp fuel etc) could it be the instrument panel gauge circut board??? Just ordered new tach board because tach was pegged out doing 60 down the highway. Looking at the wiring diagram the panel gauge circut board also indicates it is related to tach and instrument lights. Could this be the issue with lights and tach???? If so were is it located??? I will call wilcox and hold off on shipping tach board until we can figure this out

I replaced both citcut panels in my 80 last year and that fixed many (Intermiten gages, lights not working, tach doing what it wants) problems.
If you replace these cards check each of the light sockets at the little spades that make contact. I cleaned mine and tweeked them just a little making sure that make good contact. I also made sure the spades on the harness conectors were tweeked out (just enough to preload a tight fit) a little for the same reason and cleand them with a small emery board.
