Passenger side is easy, just remove the screws on the dash and the gauge cluster. Drivers side you have to drop the steering collum (2 bolts underneath), then take out the screws on the dash and the gauge cluster. It's been a long while since I did this procedure, so I'm sure if I missed a step, the fellas on the forum will put you back on track. Good luck on the job!

The pad is also attached to a bracket underneath on pass. side towards the middle. The sp. can be removed w/o lowering st. column by removing windshield trim. I just lifted the pad a little to remove dr. side sp.
Sounds like you have speakers in the kick panel locations.

speakers done
Did dash speakers today. Not difficult just time consuming.Thanks for tips,I did drop steering column I think it made things a little easier to move without forcing trim. One screw on defroster vent had to be removed with stubby screwdriver,also the dash bracket located right of defroster vent had to be removed to access screw holding vent.
Took header cover,pillar covers off also.Thanks for help
