Just two words Snake oil. I may have not spelled it right but they are the best. Just GOOGLE it find the site tell them what you want pull your old ones send them in. They will rebuild using your old hardware. If they can use it, they will let you know. Me again. sgm
I'm using rear belts from a 2000 camaro. Works great, looks great, and cost me only $50 for the whole set from the f-body from Contemporary Corvette. They will ship them for another $12 or so. You can do a search and see other peoples work with these belts here. -Neal
Snake-Oyl (Spelling?) has done the seat belts for my 68 and 70. With both sets of belts they were very responsive to my telephone inquiries; i.e not being placed on hold or asked to pressed 1...... In all of my phone inquiries, I was able to immediately talk to an intelligent person. Also, I had some extensive conversations about the color of the seat belts. They were very supportive and sent me web color samples to make sure I was happy. I paid $800+ for my 1970 belts to be done in a different color. This included replating/reconditioning the buckles and also rebuilding the retractor reels..... A little less for 68's in original colors, but the retractors had to be rebuilt also. I didn't know the 68 retractor reels until I sent them to Snake-Oyl . I thin he 68 cost was something in the $500 range.

Neal,
Could you provide more details on the conversion? Direct bolt in?
Go to Carlisle, it would be the best place to get the best deal.
I checked every vendor in Carlisle. There was only one with a bucket full of shoulder belts with retractors. I checked a few of the retractors-none worked.
No one else had any used seat belts.
AND absolutely no one had used lap belts or lap belt retractors.
Call and ask for Kevin (the owner). If he doesn't have them he may know who does.
Btw, I bought every single piece for the interior at Carlisle for under $4,000 (except for lap belts - need dark blue and the lock on rear compartment)
