Post up in that region for someone with an 82 for a hands-on fit check, BUT i know you will fit if my 6'2" 270lb body fits in both my 81 and 82's just fine. you may have to drive with arm on armrest or on door top

First, thank you for serving our country.
The tight fit and slight inconveniance is what make a sports car a sports car!
I'm 6' 1", 260, and I fit. My 77 does not have t/t though. I had to learn how to get in it without looking comical. I put an after market steering wheel on it that is a slightly smaller diameter. Made a big difference.
And, welcome to the best dream and the worst nightmare you'll ever have, the c-3 Corvette!

Thanks for you service to our country.
I'm retired USAF myself.

I have a 69 coupe, 6'1 and 250lbs. I fit quite well in mine. I'm getting old, and it's a bit harder to get up and down in it now (I have service connected disablity for my knees).

Thanks again for your service, pass the torch to a young and deserving sailor to carry on in you absence. I've still got 3 troops that proudly carry on in my absence. I'm very proud of them too!!!

I'm 6'2" and 220 lbs and fit nicely into my 79; however, it is much easier to get in and out with the T tops off. I do have to look either over or under the winshield at stop lights to see them.
