Question about steering column wiring?
I have 2 wires that are part of the "bundle" for the steering column...They are together, one is solid red, the other red/white, and the terminate in a plug with 2 blade connectors. Larger gauge wire...
Any ideas? I have looked the wiring diagram over and cant find them...They are not plugged into anything, yet the car starts and all functions on the column work. Cant find where they might plug in to..

Hi Rob... I know you know by now - as your interior is complete and, in fact, ready to come back out for its transformation to black... but since I had to go down this road also....
This wire goes to the Wiper Door Switch that stops the wipers in mid stroke. This wire/connector goes under the column at the base of the speedo/tach dash where all the other vacuum controls are located.
