Default 77 Red Project Car Update...

Yesterday the 77 Red project car got her rear end finished and now she is off the lift, back on the ground and back in the center bay.
Here is the new back end on the car.

And here is the car back in the center bay ready for completion of the engine.

Steeroids are on the car now. Hydraboost is nearing completion. Fuel line is on the car now. Next up is the spark plug lines and looms to hold them in place. Hooker Super Comps are on the car now. Side pipes are ready to go, not yet installed. Five speed is ready to go, just have to finish the e-brake cable in the console and button up the console and put the seat back in the car.

So we are getting closer to our starting of the car with October our test drive target month and April our opening season with the new driver. A 14 month frame on restoration is nearing completion, and she is looking very good.

Best regards,

David

We got to get moving then. I'm yanking my motor and trans mid October. That should not stop any progress on yours though.

No problemo... Just as soon as I get the body off the 71 I can whip out the engine on the 77. Piece of cake as they say. How many bolts do I have to remove to pull the body off the frame again

I love staying busy.

Hadn't planned on it. Original car didn't have one and this car won't be seeing any racing so not sure it is needed. Why do you ask?
Got me curious.
