rebuild carburator
hi guys
i just want to know if someone can help me and recommend where i can rebuild my carburator quadrajet rochester 4barrel original one.
i have 72 vette 454 bb and i want to restore this carb to an orginal cond.

I guess I would ask the question do you want to do this or have someone else? I just did this last week and I have done more difficult things, but it worked. The guys on the forum helped me. I had rebuilt Ford's before but never a Rochester. The biggest thing was the adjustments. I did this on my '80 model.

This last weekend on Muscle Car (Spike TV) was devoted to rebuiding Q-jets. I think you can order the show on DVD. Although it seems rather daunting with all those various things attached to and hanging off a carb, those hillbillies made it look pretty easy.

They even had a can of spray paint that put an "original" finish on it. It looked darn good, and they started with one from a junk yard that was crawling with spiders!
