Help Replacing Front Diff Seal
I noticed while changing brake lines on my 75 that the front differential seal is leaking. I have never changed one of these before and was wondering if it is a DIY project. I was told I could damage the gears if not done right. Any advise is appreciated.

Do a search on pinion seal replacement, there's plenty of info in the archives on how to do it. Mine needs the same thing, and I haven't found the courage to try it myself yet. I too have read exactly what you fear.
