What size tires?
I just bought an 82 C3 CE. What are the largest size tires that can be put on that car with the CE wheels. Anybody know? It has 225's but I don't like the way they track. I don't want to modify with spacers or anything, just want to know if maybe I can go 255 or 275, etc. I'm new to C3s. I've only owned a C4 until now....great vette (the C3)!!

255s all around will be no prob. that's the max in the front. you may be able to get away with 275's in the rear but you may have to move the e-break cable for that. oh yeah, and welcome to the section! similar to your c4 buddies, WE LIKE PICS!!!!!

Udaman! Thanks! I needed a start point from the experts. I'll get the pics...just put it in my garage today.
Have some sad ones of an 81 that I bought, owned it for an hour before it caught fire in the engin compartment and burned down on exit 19 off the interstate here in TN. I should probably start another thread for that one.

I have 255's all around on my '82. It had 275's on the back when I got it. I think it looked ridiculous.
