I have a chance to get a set of early moon roofs but the inside glass is busted on one of them. They are in pretty good shape except for that. Both have "Safety LOF Float, AS-3, GZ, Laminated , DOT 15 M113A in that frosty looking writing. I have been looking for set of of these for a long time for my wife's 76.
Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
I love this forum as I have recieved tons of help and advice on all of my Corvettes!

You can try talking to Astro Tops about making the insert out of plastic like their t-tops are. Several years ago at Carlisle I told to Astro's owner about doing this. He said if I was really interested to give him a call once he was back at the office. He also said that he had some of the Moonroofs but several of the glass inserts were broken.
Roger,
Thanks, I'll try that. I had a one piece Astro on 75 custom show car back in the 80's.
Please keep in touch since we are Virginians.

I have a similar issue, i have a pair, one side is exrtremely scratched and the glue under is seperating, im wondering if i can have the glass removed, buffed and reglued?
The right side (passenger) is cracked. I took it to a glass shop today run by a guy who does Corvette work and restores Camaro's. He said he could not do anything with it.
Here are the pix of the pass side moonroof. It is the nicest one I've seen (and I've owned 3 1/2 sets). Very good hardware and weatherstriping. Fits '68-77. $250
