Depending on the weather I plan on driving over on Saturday morning. I only live about 1 1/2 hours away so I'm going to make it a day trip. Really looking forward to it!
I went one year and didn't see any 1 place where everyone meets. It seems like everthing was spread around the area. I was a bit disappointed. I too live 1.5 hours away.
Is there a website for the weekend.
I'm going down early friday morning and hang out till sunday morning.
I went there two years ago just for the afternoon and saw a huge amount of vettes. I'm not going to enter in the car show unless there's a class for WORK IN PROGRESS for my 70 vert.
I'm looking forward to seeing all the other cars and get some ideas from looking at everyones cars.
Also want to talk to anyone and pick there brain on certain tech items and body work and painting.
Heck I'm going to enjoy just being able to drive to and from there, as long as theres not going to be a bunch of rain or bad weather. If the weather turns bad I'll just go back to tablerock lake and go fishing.
those going to eureka springs, don't forget that the auto cross
is at fletcher chev in springdale, ar. it starts at 10:00 am
about 1hour west of eureka.
hope everone has a good time
Looks rainy but I will be there anyway Thursday for the autocross. Returning to Tulsa Sunday.

Tablerock is fun to fish! I went out with guide Rick Lapointe and I caught 40 bass in a half day on drop shots and topwater.
Dang, thats pretty good. Infact thats real good. I like to go night fishing for bass. I have the whole lake to myself other then a few other fishermen. Hope to see you there at E.S.

This sounds like fun. I've never driven a auto cross. Is it fun? I guess were running the course for a time rather then a prize. If the weather permits and I make it down the springdale in time do I need any safety equipment such as a helmet or anything for my car?
Thanks.
I'm gonna try to make it over for Saturday in the C5 as the C3 is stripped down and ready for paint... not road worthy! Bog show with lots of nice vettes!
Right now the weather is looking like it's going to keep me from driving down tomorrow morning (thursday). Radar is showing severe storms and high winds for thursday afternoon and clearing late thursday night, so I think I'll just wait it out and head down early friday morning. Never had my convertible in the rain before but it's the high winds there calling for that has me worried about.
I was looking forward to watching the autocross and or maybe trying to run it. Oh Well maybe next year.
It's about 5 hours one way for me, if I went it would only be a day trip.
As I noted in another thread someone tell my why it would be worth a 10 hour round trip to go up there and spend a day
I'm certainly not trying to discourage you from coming up but 5 hours one way is a long time behind the wheel then X2 on the way back home.
I had to dirve up to KC and back on monday and that's a 3 hour trip (one way) including a pit stop or two. But then I dont like KC either.
I would like to kick a few meterologist ***'s right now cause I would be there now but was waiting on this so called severe storm to roll thru.
let's put it this way. Not a drop of rain or even a storm.
