Ok, I have done some research on mufflers for my '79 vette. I have found the Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flows and the Dynamax Super Turbo series.
Which of these two will give me a nice rumble without too much noise inside the cabin? They both are listed as moderate noise level. I am a mid 50's guy who likes a good sound, but not so loud that I will lose my hearing.

I'm running the Dynomax super turbos on my 68 427 coupe and they give a nice muscle car rumble with no resonance. Actually a little on the quiet side, ( louder than stock) but still a nice rumble. They flow extremely well so you don't leave any horsepower on the table. When you jump on it they sound great
I have been running the Delta Flow 50s on mine for years now. Loud enough when they need to be but quiet enough for cruising and not set off every alarm and alert every officer in the area. I have had many compliments on the sound of the car.
I tried 2 different sets of Flowmasters on my 77. Way to loud inside the car. Especially at speeds below 35 mph. I finally settled on the Magnaflows. Nice sound, quiet inside.
I have already been through all this,do a search,i bought alot of mufflers and tried them and what i came up with is cherry bomb pro mufflers and flow tech terminator mufflers sound the best on our cars with no drone in the cab,and loud aggressive sound outside.if you want stainless steel muffler, then pypes street pro muffer is very good sound and no drone.Flowmaster muffler 40 was at the bottom of the list.
Also if youwant the loudest muffler without drone, you can go with pypes violater mufflers, straight through design,i didnot like them, made my car sound like a truck, might be different on your car.I spent hundreds of dollars until i found a good sounding muffler.

That is what I just put on my '71 B/B and they sound sweet!!!
Given the 2 choices you listed and what you're looking for, the Dynomax mufflers seem to be the obvious choice. If you aren't in a rush you can go to some car events, listen to various systems on Vettes, and get owner feedback. You may like some options that you haven't considered yet.

He is right ,most people here run magnaflow ,dynomax, flows.
Here is how the new Magnaflow system with the X-pipe sounds. The engine is a LS1 so it sounds a little different than the stock engine but you can get an idea.
