taillights on 73

I was looking at how to remove the taillight assemblies and looks like a rivet or something how do these come off???

They should unbolt from the back of the lights (1/4" bolt 7/16" wrench or socket)

well it was getting late maybe they are all corroded and i did not notice ill take a closer look tomorrow

nuts on back, each one has a ground wire... mine were so rusty I snapped half the studs off

So after sandblasting I tacked on a 1/4" bolt and sprayed silver...worked great as I didn't feel like spending $50. ea for new ones!

thanks for the pics just as i thought everything was pretty corroded i sprayed them down w some pb blaster i will try to get them off without destroying them
