with above comments, shake test for sure.
I use 6 stands when working under mine...same location as yours plus 2 up front where the sway bar is bolted to frame to support nose

At the back end of the side rail where the cross member connects is a triangular shaped hole. I put one tip of the jackstand in this hole. If you can shake the car off the stand with the tip in this hole you are good.

Quit worrying about "scratching the frame". I don't think your next of kin are going to worry about that at your funeral. It is just a friggin car. Someone else will own it when you are gone and they will not even remember your name after they wash your DNA off of it.

Four primary jack stands plus four backup jack stands plus one floor jack......Maybe as a pre-caution I should add the wheels too !!...................................... ........................................ ........................................ ........................................ ........................................ ...................................:iagr ee:

The problem now is that there is no room left to get underneath the car.

Ideally I think the best way is to jack up one side at a time and rest the four wheels on the tops of ramps with the grade ends front and rear pointing in opposite directions. Yes, you will not be able to drive up onto the ramps. I used this setup when I was installing my 5 speed and had plenty of room to roll underneath on a creeper. if you need to remove a wheel you still can jack up that one wheel and put a stand under it.
