I think this does a whole lot actually, the three bolt holes around the 4 larger whole that your bulbs go through, is that what the lens bolts to?

I have a 74 with an 80-82 style rear bumper on it and Im wanting to go back to the stock split tail, and Im trying to see what Ill need before I get there

that is correct..........attach your bumper, slide the light in and attach your nuts.....you may need another person to help you out, unless you have long arms...........................Tom

The '74 tail light installation is one year only. The assembly instruction manual (AIM) will show you the parts you need and how the lights and brackets are installed.

Did you keep the original 74 set up when the 80-82 styple bumper was installed? Finding the stock '74 parts these days might be a PITA.

I bought it with the 80-82 bumper on it, so I never looked for the brackets, Im not sure whats under there (im in springfield mo and the car is in Joplin)

how are those lens brackets attach, are they something that can be removed? somehitng that could be parted off of one car and onto another?
