can anyone point me to a threat on rims for my 73 coupe. i am picking her up from the restoration shop on friday after a year being in the shop getting restored. now i would like to put a nice set of rims on her since she got all new paint and interior. i thought about crager wheels but if anyone has any suggestions or pics of their wheels that would be great. thanks scott
Well, depending on what you have in mind, there are quite a few options.
Look over this thread and it may help you drill down to more specific questions: what diameter wheel? Whether any suspension mods or OEM specs? Are you looking to rotate the set? or big-n-littles?
Just received a set of wheels from Year One, they are the pontiac snowflake wheels, look a little like the old enkie or bbs wheel, and the 1980 corvette centercap fits. Size is 17"x9" with a 47/8" backspacing. They fit my 80 perfect. And the price is right, $749 for set of 4 plus shipping. You can see these wheels on the Year One website, on the home page click on 64-02 pontiac then 67-81 firebird.

I also have a similar question. I am building a 75 I want a wider look and stance without going outside the fender wells and without going to an offset trailing arm. I am going to relocate the brake lines to achieve a 3/4 inch wider rim toward the trailing arm. Anyone help me and oh6driver with his 73???
