Default Custom 81 Interior Progress Pictures

I have made progress the past year on my custom interior. Here are some pics of the unspeakable mess which is my garage and the current state of my never ending project.

Thanks guys, though I have owned the car since the 80s it has been 9+ years since I have been working on this rebuild, started from a complete gutting and it has complete custom wiring with a painless fusebox. Spent hundreds of hours making all the interior parts myself by hand. I learned how to be an upholsterer during the process and got offered a job making custom interior parts lol! It has a monoleaf front suspension with the fabricated control arms and has some major frame mods to fit the March pulley system. In the not so distant future I will be putting a 4 link fabricated rear in it with flares and 18x335s on the back. Planning on the TCI 6 speed with paddle shifters and a flaming river column. Probably going to switch to fuel injection and possibly get rid of the tunnel ram. Hid lights all around and finally a deep metallic copper paint with grey/black flames to match my Hayabusa
But at this point its almost ready to take for a ride!!!
I am scared I will grenade my batwing before I get off of my block though.. heh!
Here is a youtube vids of it running and the interior..

I purchased the roll bar from Jegs back in 2001. I am not sure if they still sell them. Here is a full picture. Was tough to build my speaker box around it!

It is a 300 dollar Walmart touch screen dvd player. (Double din) It has a card reader slot and usb and it sounds really good, though the menu's are in broken english haha.. It works with nav and blue tooth and hooks up to a back up camera.. Very nice for the money. I bought it a few years ago. I just checked Walmart.com and it looks like they have a newer model for even less:

I live in South Florida. The car will not need heat but I will be installing a hot rod air system eventually. Depending on the control unit size I have a spot for it on the right side of the gauge cluster.
