1969 Automatic Shifter Assembly
Can anyone guide me or show pics of your shifter assembly? I am re-assemblying mine and forgot what order the large washer and retaining clip are positioned.
Well..... I know the pin goes from passenger side to driver side, and the retainer is on the inboard side of the driver's side... but where does the washer go???? Thanks
Gee - I guess while I am at it... when I took the shifter apart, I think proper re-assembly was the rod (insert from the bottom) then a small washer, then the small spring, then the larger very short slot-head bolt... i sthat correct positioning of the washer?
I did try to find in the AIM, but they term as an assembly on J402
