Default c3 Exhaust kits

Hi guys, I know it's been a while since I've given updates on "the other steel cities gray" vette but all I can say is that it's getting there. The block is in and I'm getting it ready to fire up.

Can someone give me some options on exhaust kits? I'd like headers, pipes, and mufflers. I found one on corvettecentral.com with patriot headers, pipes, and magnaflow mufflers for $670 shipped. Do you all know of any others? Thanks, Neal

I bought a set of Patriot headers from Summit, and a 2-1/2" exhaust kit from Bairs corvettes. Have not put it all together yet, but i ended up with the stock type quiet mufflers.

If I remember correctly, you can find the video on their web page.

If you want a non-standard looking exhaust Magnaflow has some new stainless systems. This one is a 2.5" system for a bog block that I'm using with the LS1. It's made to mate up to the stock manifold but the pipe in front of the crossmember can be modified to connect to a header.

Rick,
Did you fabricate the x pipe or did it come with the system?

It's part of the kit. If you look up the 16841 system on the Magnaflow website you can see what the components look like. I'm using the big block system because I wanted the dual tips. For some reason they put a single tip on the small block system.

I have the Corvette Central true 2.5" dual system w/ Magnafows bolted up to the stock factory manifolds. Installed with no issues, everything fit like it was supposed to.
