Hey after completely replacing all the parts of my A/C system new comp., rec. dryer, condensor. I had it recharged with 134a and it worked fine for 1 summer now nothing!!! I was try to check out this vintage air set up, is it better does it work the heat also? what about all the parts I already installed? I checked the web site but it very vauge for a universal set up for a 81

Then it sounds like you have a leak which is a relatively easy fix.
PS Some factory systems were converted from R-12 to R-134 by only 1 mech. change- reducing the orifice tube size.
