Hooker muffler inserts?
Looking for reccomendations for inserts for hooker side pipes, glass pack, reverse flow, sweet thunder? This is mainly a Show car, sunday driver.
I also heard there was a new hooker max flow insert?
Thanks

I am planning on ceramic headers with chrome side pipes, do these fit together and has anyone went this combo? Looks? Fit? Performance?

i have the max flow and they are very deep sounding. they are very loud and can be felt. i liked them over the spiral types due to them having a deeper pitch and having a less metalic sound.

STS Baffles. Nice and loud at WOT, can cruise on the highway and listen to the radio (even with the top down).

The STS baffles are great...tho I opted for the Sweet Thunder "Side Cannons". They make several models with various inner baffle tube diameter (2" to 2 3/4") depending how loud you want to get. I have the 2 1/2" diameter tube and sounds great!
There IS a color difference between ceramic coating and chrome. I happen to have the reverse...chrome headers with ceramic coated sidepipes. The chrome sidepipes just got way too hot and I didn't really care for the 'cover' look, so ceramic was the answer for me. If you can live with the contrast between chrome and ceramic, then no problem.
