Please help with alternator hook up
I have a GM 383 with the accessory kit installed in my '69 convert. It has the serpentine belt and all the accessories including the late model alternator. My question involves the plug into the alternator with 4 white wires coming out of it. Where do all these wires go? I know one must go to 12 v power, but how about the other 3? Used for computers? Used on FI cars?

Alternator questions
Thank you. That is a lot more information than I have been able to find up to now.
It looks like the largest white wire on the plug is the one you show as "P", and will not be used. Correct?
