....most of us here can. It'll tell you that it's a Chevrolet, it's either a coupe or convertible, an L-82, L-48 or 454 car, it was assembled in St. Louis, and what sequence number out of 37,502 Corvettes built for 1974.
The trim tag(front driver's door pillar)will tell what the original interior color/fabric was, what color the original paint was and the body build date.
1Z37J45434060 Thanks for any info that ya'll can provide, I'll read that link now, woohoo, excited to hear what can be found, would be cool if it was built say on our wedding date, as we have a love for the car..

First off, it tells me your name is Kevin M. O'Brien. The rest is easy. 1Z37J4'S'434060 Yes, that's an "S"
Its a "Y" car (a Corvette), a coupe with a 350 ci engine and was 430060 off the assembly line.
Oops, yours is a 1974 car, so it was 34060 off the line I think. I'm soooo confused now!

Curious, how were you able to find out that my name is Kevin M. O'Brien
>??
Thanks in advance,

Probably ran a CARFAX on the car, CARFAX gives the names of all registed owners in the car's history, including the current owner. Or he could have looked at your Profile on this site.
You may want to remove your VIN number from this site now that you have the info you want.
Those are just reverse engineered calculations. Take the date off the trim tag and add 1 or 2 days. This is as close as you will get for the car's completion date.

It would be interesting to hear what others find from that Web page regarding the Birthday. When I input my '76 VIN the Web Page said approx. 7/01/76 and the Trim tag has L01... pretty close reverse engineering....

Very few Corvettes were finished the same day as the trim tag date. The car was a LONG way from the end of the ***'y line. Most rolled off the next day or the day after that. In my case the calculator has a two day error. Even the author (a fellow NCRS member) will admit that it's primarily calculations.

Yep, just looked at your profile to get Kevin O'Brien and your screen name has the 'M' in it. Nope, no CarFax needed.
Just felt like being goofey that night.
