Fuel pump new or rebuilt
My fuel pump went on my 71 350 270 hp motor. What should I do
send it out and get it rebuilt ( if so where) or go down to the local
auto parts store and buy one and put the original in a box.

Paragon sells a replacement without the AC logo for $30, or you can pay $155 for one with the logo. Put your original in a box and let the next owner worry about it...unless you plan to have it NCRS judged. Rebuilt fuel pump? Does somebody do that? If so, how much? Would you trust something as important as that?

well the most important part is the outlet for the fuel line to carb and if its indexed correctly.....make sure you do a side by side comparision before you leave the store....
