Door pin replacement
My doors had a little sag. Bout 1/8" at jam so decided to replace the pins. Replaced the drivers side this weekend. Built a jig on my floor creeper to hold the door. Door is not sitting on fiberglass bottom as it looks, its held on the inside edge by supports. Worked real good and no play at all now. Passenger side next.
P.S. Getting her back to Elkhart Green is a future plan to once the piggy bank fills some.

Lookin' good!
Nice door holding rig you made up.
I did mine while I had the doors gutted rebuilding the regulators and changing the glass over to convertible.
With everything removed my doors were so lite I couldn't pass up the chance to drop them and pop the new pins and bushings in.
Makes a world of difference shutting and latching properly.

Nice jig. When I did mine, I used a floor jack to take the weight and my 16 year old son to steady the door

HOw did you get the pin past the fender without removing the inner hinge half from the body?
Thanks!

I didn't need to on mine as the bushes fell in half and ended up being that sloppy I was able to get the pin past the fender.
Try grinding half the head away with a Dremel or similar...

Had to grind half the head off the pin as Saudivette suggested, same thing to reinstall new pin.

Nice jig idea! If I ever need to replace my pins. I'll use your jig idea.
