First, to those who ask if they can convert a C3 to Olds power, here is proof that at least a small-block Olds can be put in a C3 as the Olds diesel and the small-block Olds are the same dimensionally.

Second, why? Just because something can be done does not mean that it should. I have driven some of these Olds diesels and they won't get out of their own way. It is non-turbo, non-intercooled. I applaud his craftsmanship, because it is top-notch, but good luck selling it for anywhere close to what he wants for it.

Given that the '82 Riv used a FRONT-wheel drive TH325 transaxle, it's quite the trick that he put the engine AND transmission from that car into the Vette...
