MY friend and myself started to work on the interior of the 70 coupe. i noticed bits of overspray on interior. sides of console small amount on side panels in front. small amounts from radio up to dash. any ideas about getting it off? has to be about 2 years old so the paint is really on there. can only ne seen in certain light so its not a totall mess. is there any way to rub some dye on parts without a totall interior redo? thanks alot guys
Believe it or not I have had great luck by using Stoner's Invisible Glass in the aeresol to remove stains, paint overspray etc. You could also try a clay bar kit. The clay bar and lubricant spray is designed for paint but I have used on other surfaces as well.
One final idea would be to pick up a Mr. Clean Magic eraser. Test a spot with this first though as it can leave some surfaces slighty dull. This is the only thing that I found really helpful to remove any black scuff marks from the plastic door entry covers on my C5.
Thanks for the info RON 71, i will have to give a try. looks like the paint got into vents and it blew specs of paint out. guess the dudes who painted it were not very carefull. its a shame because paint on car is very nice. we buffed it out and it looks great.
