Ouch.









If - like me - you're not confident about this job then you might have to do what I've just done: Find a good welder/sheet metal worker and ask him to take a look. Most components of the birdcage will be available from aftermarket suppliers or junkyards so you just need someone who can visualise how to stitch them into your existing birdcage.

Edit: You might have to take the body off the chassis first. You'll definitely need to take the windscreen out. You might need to remove the front clip from the firewall too.

thank you.I would like to try and do it myself I am not sure how to get out the parts that I need to repair.I have a complete ws frame on its way.

I was able to pick up a right side bird cage rail f/r posts the big question is can I install it?

Where the hell did the mid bulkhead behind the seats go????

and by the look of it ....you have a lot of individual pieces to replace

to answer your question..........only you and your closest critic (good friend) "know" if you can do this work

look at some of the other resto's going on in this forum and apply the info to your car
