Question for the Experts?
Hello C3'er. I usually hang out in the C1-C2 section. Anyways I have a friend with a '72 who wants to install a 385 Fast Burn crate engine while doing a off frame restoration. Has anyone here done one or know someone who has? Especially wants to use the serpentine belt system. Replies greatly appreciated.

I've got the Fast Burn in my '68 but I installed March under-drive pulleys.
I don't know whether the serpentine belt system offered with the 385 will clear everything in a C3.
He might want to consider the Hot-Cam and a set of 1:6 roller rockers making his new engine basically a clone of the ZZ430.
