Need door handle re-assemble help
I got my broken door handle off on my driver's side door. I am now trying to install the new door handle and am having a problem.
Since my handle was significantly broke im not sure how to get the parts back to the way they are supposed to be.
I can easily get the handle back in the door, but I have not figured out a way to re-install the rod back onto the door handle. This is the rod that goes from the door handle to the a part of the door latch. It screws into a part and looks to be held with a strange clip.
Do I need to remove the clip from the rod and install it on the door handle before putting the entire set on the door? Than reinstall the clip?
Or is there another way?
Also, Is this the correct upper clip that I purchased, for where the rod connects to the door handle?
