Thanks for the inspiration guys. Mine is an 80 original blue, currently white on it's way back to blue. Good to be reminded just how beautiful these cars are.
I have a question about the C5/C6 Lemans Blue. why in some pictures does the blue look bright. almost admiral blue maybe. then in other it looks real dark. i love the dark and am thinking about it for my car. but im not sure what color it is. is there a dark lemans blue?

Which '80 original blue are you restoring? My '80 was red when I bought it. I didn't realize it was originally blue until I had it media blasted. I found out the original color was Code 28 Dark Blue Metallic as shown in pics a few replies back. Code 28 looks much better with the Oyster interior than red IMO.

It just depends on how the light is hitting the car. It is a dark blue with a tinted clear coat and was used from 04-07.
I didn't see a Bridgehampton Blue one yet, so here's mine:
It's a very medium blue that can look quite light in direct sunlight, medium in the shade, and sometimes looks almost dark blue in my garage. It's the original color, so I doubt I will change it, but if I was going to change it, I would go a little darker. My stance needs a little work too, too high in the rear. It's a little better now than when this was taken, but needs to come down a little more.

If you create an album on this forum, you can upload your pictures to that, then click on the picture once in the album, and there will be two url lines below the picture. I use the top one to insert pictures into posts.
